Not sure how many of you have seen this clip but I find it pretty interesting. Haven’t really tried counting the Canons, LOL.

For those who are interested in watching his behind-the-scenes video on the REVERIE (which we covered earlier), the raw footage from both Canon XH A1 camcorder – and a few clips for the Canon EOS 5D MKII, check out the following site as well, great video – http://blog.vincentlaforet.com/2008/09/23/behind-the-scenes-video/

More coverage videos on the Sony A900 at this year’s PhotoKina from WhatDigitalCamera.  I ordered mine and still waiting for it to get here on 17 October 2008.

Had my LX3 for quite some time.  Love its compactness in size (vs. the Canon G9 or Nikon P5100); the bright focal ratio of F2.0-2.8; the ability to shoot in 4:3, 3:2 and 16:9 formats with no cropping; RAW format (but no updates yet from Adobe); HD 720p movie recording format and last but not least, its 24mm equivalent coverage.  What I don’t like though is the lens cap and its short battery life.  For a more detailed review, Camera Labs have published a very thorough review and have some great comparison with the Canon G9, check it out, link here.

Just when I’m getting the hang of Photoshop CS3 Extended, Adobe rolled out the new CS4 Suite….. gee, Adobe is upgrading as fast as Canon these days.  Well, what’s new in the Photoshop CS4 one would ask.  To get a brief idea, check out An overview of all the new features in Adobe Photoshop CS4 by Philip Andrews over at photoshopsupport.com.

”The exhibition is about the relationship with the people I meet.
I like photography, especially shooting on strangers and I like the moments with new faces.
Through the lens of my camera, we met together and see each other.
It tells we live together in the same country, the same world, though we don\’t know each other.
I could express myself and communicate with others through the camera without barriers.
I feel pleasure in the moments with the strangers, and always wonder I was so close to them.”

This a leak video on the video shot by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Vincent Laforet who was amongst the first people to get their hands on the Canon’s 5D Mark II.

Genius, just found out you can shoot stills while shooting a video by pressing the shutter button.  If you do so, the video recording will resume after lifting the shutter button.

Loving it, working great with Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom 2 as well. The pen-strokes are just awesome. Goodbye to my Wacom Bamboo.
